I am inspired by people and animals. I am interested in the way they behave and their thoughts. My art has taken on a life of its own recently, following a path of exploration into portraiture, wild life and nature, and also different media and combinations of media within one painting. My paintings are mainly in watercolour which will come to you mounted and in a plastic sleeve. I love the freedom I have when I paint with watercolour. Water has a life of its own and I enjoy the slow process of layering up the colours of water to see the final results. Some of my work is in acrylic. I feel less free when I paint with acrylic, and enjoy concentrating on the details.
Prints (a5 and a4) and digital copies (up to a4 size) are available too. I will add these to my Etsy shop soon, or feel free to message me directly, as I am always happy to talk and advise.

I can post straight to you in 1 - 2 days, free postage, if you are within the UK. Times may change if outside the UK and postage cost will apply. I can also post to a different address, if it is for a gift, and add a personalised note for you. Again, just message me with details.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the painting, I will give you a full refund if you can return the painting in the same standard as I have sent it to you, with the secure and protective packing.

What is the fundraising for?
I’m excited to share that I’m holding a raffle to raise money for an expedition to Malaysia with Venture Force, an expedition company that works with a select group of students each year. Venture Force doesn’t just take people abroad; they design every trip to focus on real growth—challenging us to step out of our comfort zones, experience new cultures deeply, and develop essential skills like teamwork, communication, and organisation.

In Malaysia, I’ll be taking part in some incredible projects. I’ll be working on turtle conservation at the beach, helping to protect these amazing creatures and preserve their habitats. I’ll also spend four days living in the rainforest, learning about the critical challenges it faces and what can be done to help. And there will be other volunteer opportunities too, like feeding those in need.
Venture Force puts a lot of thought into creating sustainable, hands-on projects that allow us to work closely with the community on meaningful initiatives.

One of the biggest challenges in getting to Malaysia is fundraising. Every participant is encouraged to take full ownership of their expedition costs, which is why I’m hosting a raffle to help cover my expenses. Balancing fundraising with training and schoolwork has been tough, but every step is worth it for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The experience, skills, and connections I’ll gain will go far beyond Malaysia, helping shape my future in countless ways.

When is the draw?
The raffle draw will take place on Sunday, 1st December at 12 pm at the Yelde Hall during the craft market in Chippenham, where Lucia will also be attending with her artwork! If you’re nearby, come along to watch the draw live and enjoy the market. If you can’t make it, don’t worry—I’ll contact the winners directly by phone.
