Stag and Robin

Stag and Robin

The stag, proud and mighty and regal, was actually feeling... well, not proud, mighty or regal at all.

He was having one of those days when the world was just too much.

We've all been there.

Everything feels like an effort, and wandering through the forest felt like he had taken on far too much that day.

Then, out of nowhere, a little robin landed on his weary antlers.

His first thought was to shake off whatever this nuisance was.

But as he slowly turned his head and spotted the sweet, quizzical face looking back at him, he smiled.

And this painting is to remind you that the small things can make us smile, we just need to pay attention to them.
