I paint in watercolour and coloured pencil - and sometimes a mix of the 2.
I use good quality watercolour paper and the painting comes mounted.
Have a look at the gallery below for example of watercolour / coloured pencil portraits.
I also paint in acrylic paints (animals only).
I paint straight on to canvas which is ready to hang.

How to get your portrait painted
First of all, you need to decide what photo you'd like me to work from. The photograph needs to be good quality and clear, so I can see as much detail as possible. you can email the photo straight to me from HERE, or send me a message if you need help sending me a photo. If you are unsure whether a picture is good enough, please just send it anyway and I will let you know.
A photo OF a photo is not usually good enough, but you can post me a printed photo to use. Please send me a message and I'll tell you where you can post it.
Secondly, decide what medium you'd like. I can do pencil, which is grey scale, coloured pencil or watercolour paints. I will also do pets and animals in acrylic on a ready to hang canvas. In most cases, one medium will not be better than another. It is purely personal preference.
Next, decide what size you'd like. Pencil, coloured pencil and watercolour portraits are on A4 or A3 sized paper, and then mounted, ready for you to frame.
Then all you need to do is select the option from below and follow the instructions.
Turn around time is usually 2 - 3 weeks. But I am happy to meet a deadline if you've left present buying to the last minute!
